I truly appreciate all the adorable details that Kris puts in all of her journals. The yellow stitching is the perfect accent to the gorgeous purple leather that binds the paper. I use it daily to write down those little things I might otherwise forget to get back around to.
Kris took her handiwork to a new level with this one: the textures for both eyes and hand are wonderful, with a deep array of contrasts that make it wonderful to see or hold closed--as well as to open. The beauty of the pages as a contrast to the color is also worth taking time to enjoy. I got it as a gift, but the recipient was quite pleased. Highly recommend.
Beautiful & one of a kind journal!
What attracted me to this particular journal as a gift was the green threading against the brown leather. The results were even more stunning in person. While now acclimated to the exquisite attention to detail and quality Kris offers, the quiet elegance of this journal speaks loudly.

The leather is beautifully died and so, so soft. The insert is detailed and has enough room for many tastings. This one is for me, but I plan on gifting this to many!

I needed the perfect present for my kid: this was it. The texture of the leather and the weight of the pages were both exceptional, as was the set on the fly leaf. Hard to give away—but a lovely and memorable present.

I started buying journals for my wife last year, after having purchased one as a present for my sister. This beautiful blue leather volume is the latest. One thing that I love about each of these is working with Kris on engraving a few words on the cover that indicate the chapter of life we're moving into, whose events my wife records. Each day, she looks forward to her time sitting down--feeling the leather, seeing the colors of page and leather, enjoying the moment.
