Ready to try your hand at bookbinding or paper marbling? Workshops take place in Kris’s downtown Walla Walla studio and can accommodate up to four people.

Meet the Artist
Kris Stewart made her first book in 1998 and she hasn’t stopped creating since. Her skills have grown to include paper marbling, cyanotype, and eco-printing, transforming ordinary materials into stunning, tactile art. Kris is best-known for her leather journals: meticulously crafted, built from premium materials, and finished with a level of care that turns each piece into a cherished keepsake. Equally passionate about teaching, she energizes students with hands-on workshops, generously sharing techniques and hard-won insights.
Kris lives in vibrant Walla Walla, Washington, with her husband and a persnickety poodle named Pablo.
