Northwest Haiku is a collaborative project with my mother. I took five of her haiku poems inspired by the Great Northwest (we both live in different parts of Washington State), and created a varied edition of 5 books. Each book features the same poetry, but the wet cyanotype artwork in each book is original. Some of the artwork was inspired by the poems, some of the poems were inspired by the artwork.
Poems are letterpress printed on Rives BFK and float over the artwork (Legion Stonehenge printmaking paper). Book includes a matching storage box (shown).
